To learn more about PCx, got to its home page. PCx has been implemented on a variety of Unix platforms, including Linux. A version for Windows95 and Windows NT, featuring a customized interface, is also available. PCx is freely available for non-profit use.

We also maintain a set of test problems for linear programming, drawn mostly from Netlib.

Using the NEOS Server for PCx

To solve a linear programming problem, the user must submit an MPS file to the server. A parameters file can also be submitted if the user wishes to override default parameter settings. For instructions on writing a PCx parameter file, download the PCx User's Guide in postscript or dvi format.

MPS files can be submitted through the NEOS Submission Tool, Web or electronic mail.
